While Vi-Spring mattresses are designed as 'no need to turn', the manufacturer still recommend that you rotate the head and foot ends on a regular basis and occasionally flip them over to prolong the life of the product.
The specifications on this mattress are as follows:
Mattress Springs: 1.63mm wire springs, 51mm diameter in individual sewn cotton calico pockets, hand formed into a honeycomb nested unit. (Firm tension only.)
Mattress Border: 21cm deep with two rows of genuine hand side-stitching. Horizontal handles. Air vents on all sides. Borders upholstered in protective lambswool. Finished with piped ticking.
Mattress Upholstery: 1350gsm bonded lambs wool and cotton, then 900gsm of white cashmere and hair, overlaid with 1200gsm blended lambswool and cotton. Covered with Belgian ticking. Hand tufted with felt washers.
Note: We do not recommend you put a new mattress on an old divan base, or use a pocket sprung mattress such as this on an adjustable bed.
