Anneau is evocative of Paulin’s “fauteuil 780,” also known as “Concorde.” One of his last creations, Anneau redefines the concept of the traditional lounge chair. The webbed suspension on the seat and back lie above a sculptural and sensual cast aluminum base, linked only by a doubled steel ring, resulting in a much lighter, almost ethereal design. It was in homage to this legendary designer, that Ligne Roset re-christened this chair “Anneau,” which means “ring” in French. If you want one, check out the Ligne Roset store locator.
