Company owners Kamuela and Brent Potter say their mission is to allow Aloha State residents to stop worrying about “finding, using, and storing their stuff” so they can get on with gracious, laid-back, Island living.

In one high-end residence, the Potters may provide a sophisticated shelving and storage solution for a 300 square foot walk-in closet. The final design will be complete with custom shelving, crown molding, base molding, glass doors, and wood veneers selected to complement the home’s overall décor.

Another homeowner may desire a full home office system or rec room, outfitted with custom shelving and countertops that accommodate a specific profession or hobby. Organized Living will whip up a space and storage design to use and store the client’s specific tools, materials, books, or supplies in the most convenient and appealing fashion.

Yet another client may have a lavish home entertainment system that demands display fixtures with that “built-in look.” Shelving and storage for garages, pantries, wall beds – it’s all in a day’s work for Organized Living.

“We pride ourselves on designing storage solutions that address how people in Hawai‘i actually live,” said Brent Potter. “If it’s shoes, for example, people here have more slippers and sandals than boots, and that requires a different approach. That’s why everything that we do is customized -- from the choice of wood grains, to our ability to work around individual room requirements and restrictions.”

Adds Kamuela Potter: “We’re all about simplicity and efficiency. If you walk into your closet and see any area of white wall, that’s under-utilized space. Often, we can double or even triple the available storage area.”

“A place for everything, and everything in its place.” This saying may not have originated in Hawai‘i, but it aptly describes the benefits of storage design systems from Organized Living.
