Boasting a hardwood frame which has been glued and dowelled for added strength: the seat is zig zag springed and cushioned with feather interiors. The back is traditionally webbed.

Lower down, the back feet form part of the frame, whilst completing the look are turned hardwood front legs finished in antique mahogany.
