This month, fabric and wallpaper house Blithfield and artisanal homeware brand Wicklewood have together opened a brand new flagship store and showroom in London.

Called ‘Number 13’, and situated at at 13 Stratford Road, W8 in Kensington, the shop is a kaleidoscope of print, pattern and colour, bursting at the seams with colourful cushions, cosy quilts, gorgeous rugs, wallpapers and one-of-a-kind collectibles.

Following the success of several pop up shops in the past, this will be the new main flagship store and showroom, offering the unique opportunity to shop both brand’s full collections.

The curated space is decked out with the two brands' vibrant and eclectic styles, and will be a platform to launch new collections, offer design advice and host virtual events.

The showroom is of course decked out in Blithfield’s complete library of fabrics and wallpapers, including the newly launched Somerset collection which is full of colourful new prints, weaves and embroidered designs.

Alongside Wicklewood’s online collection, the shop will also debut a series of exciting new winter launches from Wicklewood, including their first dinnerware collection. 2021 will bring on more collaborations, including a furniture collab with artist and furniture design duo Tess and Alfred Newall.

And finally, as the icing on the cake, Wicklewood have launched a full design concierge, covering both brands, which offers customers complimentary private appointments where dedicated consultants will offer interior advice - from pairing prints to overhauling colour schemes.

Caroline Downing Nadel, co-founder of Wicklewood tells Livingetc: ‘this is a really exciting time for us – we’re delighted to be able to partner with Blithfield, to showcase our full collection and meet our wonderful customers.’

Liz Downing, co-founder of Blithfield added: ‘we’ve run a boutique showroom for many years now, and are really excited to be able to expand the space, as well as partnering with Wicklewood to offer what is really a full service approach to interior design.’

The shop's colour palette is already giving us spring 2021 vibes and we can't wait to stop by for a visit.
