GreenLight: Lighting solutions go greener

An experimental design project at NYU, the GreenLight is a product prescribed for “Impatients”. The fixture consists of an efficient LED fitted in a holder that is breeding ground for some plants. The GreenLight thus lights up the room and simultaneously couples with photosynthesis.

A clinical appointment is necessary to install one of these, and once installed the GreenLight promises to improve the air quality within just as it performs its primary function of illuminating the space.
