Two Islands, a team of architects and designers from London, has won the first prize of $25,000 in the international Flat Lot Competition for their innovative and futuristic design, a temporary summer pavilion called 'Floating House'. The structure, a Tudor-style house equipped with reflective panels, which seems to float atop a mirrored pedestal, is located on Flint's (Michigan) central downtown parking lot and will be made public at Flint Art Walk as of June 14 through autumn.
