Maxing out your space with under stair storage ideas, means more than creating a place to shove the ironing board, wellies and winter coats.

The space under the staircase offers a wealth of opportunities, from kitchen pantries and cloakrooms to utility areas and book cases.

These spaces can be cleverly disguised too, as you will see from the under stair storage ideas ahead, so your hallway stays warm and welcoming.

BACK TO BASICS

In this home, the space under the stairs has been carved out for an extra W.C. as well as storage. Handy, for the family and visitors wanting to wash hands on arrival.

The flash of pink on the stylish stair runner and artwork inject personality into the hallway.

SEAMLESS STORAGE

Seamless cupboards run under the stairs and are built into the walls, while a glass balustrade on one side of the stairs and light walls and floor keep the mood bright and airy.
