Introducing one of the most versatile and clean-looking ergonomic workstations we've ever seen. The Archimede Laptop Caddy (2006) by Leonardo Rossano has a tabletop that adjusts from sitting to standing height with the ease of a task chair-style gas piston and a mouse tray that can be positioned on left or right.
The two tabletop surfaces are independently adjustable, each with
several inclinations and heights to fit any situation, whether the user
is standing or seated on a sofa, bed or chair. Riding on smooth-gliding
casters, the legs swing and enable the entire caddy to fold flat, to a
mere 4.7" for storage in a narrow space. Although, with functionality
that ranges from computer use to side table to TV tray, it's difficult
to imagine this caddy being stowed for long periods. Crafted with
adjusting mechanisms concealed in the tubes, the Archimede Caddy has a
streamlined, simple appearance that works in any environment. Rossano
holds a degree in architecture and wrote his final dissertation on
computer workstations.
