Sunlit Countertops
"The
blue-and-white palette feels beachy, summery, and clean, clean, clean,"
says Marshall Watson, the designer. White Manhattan Calacatta marble on
the countertops blends in with the whitepainted cabinetry. Window
shades are made of an indoor-outdoor fabric from Sonia's Place.
Kitchen Sink
The
gooseneck faucet by Dornbracht is handy for filling a tall lobster pot.
The professional-style stainless-steel Garland range is paired with a
Rangemaster hood.

Kitchen Cabinets
The upper cabinets are faced with ribbed Skytech glass from Robert E. Otto, which veils the contents.
Blue Tiles
The
2-by-6-inch glass tiles, laid in a traditional running bond, reminded
Watson of sea glass: "You don't find it much anymore, with all the
plastic bottles and cans."
